Good Eating Tuesday: Cheesy Baked Spaghetti Ring

Really this Pinterest recipe had no name, so I made one up: Cheesy Baked Spaghetti Ring. I think the original name was "Throw Noodles in a Bundt Pan & Bake."

This is actually a very classy way to serve spaghetti. Just boil spaghetti noodles and combine with milk, eggs and assorted shredded cheese, pour into a bundt pan, bake, then turn out and server with sauce on the side.

The recipe doesn't have any specific seasoning aside from pepper, so there's room to modify it any way you want.
I added garlic and Italian Seasoning and would recommend that.

It calls for 3 cheeses shredded: mozzarella, sharp white cheddar & a fresh Parmesan, but you could switch that up with some pepper jack for zest.

A plain sauce was recommended in the recipe (a jar of your favorite) making this recipe a good meatless meal.
However Hubby and I agree we'd prefer a regular meat and mushroom enhanced sauce over ours next time.

Cheese Baked Spaghetti Ring
Ingredients
1 lb spaghetti noodles cooked according to directions just to al dente.
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
2 cups sharp White Cheddar
3/4 cup fresh shredded Parmesan
1 1/2 cups whole milk (I used 2% without a problem)
3 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 teaspoons pepper
1 jar of pasta sauce or make your own sauce
butter (for bundt)

Optional:
For more flavor: 1 to 2 teaspoon minced garlic & 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning or Basil or Oregano--whatever you've got.

Directions
Bring water to a boil with salt added and boil spaghetti noodles just to al dente. Drain in colandar. Cool with cold water from sink sprayer.

Preheat over to 425F and butter or oil spray well the entire inside of a bundt pan.

In a large bowl: combine milk, eggs, salt and whip together with a fork. Add drained cool noodles and shredded cheese and stir together until well combined.

Pour cheese-noodle mix into bundt pan, packing down as necessary.

Bake 35 to 45 minutes until top is browning and cheese is melted.
Remove to cooling rack and let cool 15 minutes, then turn out onto a large round serving plate. (photo is my own)

Heat up your jar of sauce or whatever spaghetti sauce you've prepared, then slice.
Serve topped with sauce, extra Parm cheese, garlic bread and salad. Dinner is on! An easy dinner that looks fancy!
