Friday Finds: Easy Witches Brew Jello!

The "find" I have for you today is a really fun Halloween Party Treat called,"Witches Brew Jello"!
I loved the picture as soon as I saw it and it's just made with
green Jello and Tapioca pearls!
The recipe asked for Green Apple Gelatin, which I've never seen. If you can finds some great, but if you can't, Lime will work just fine!
Don't forget you can choose other color Jello, like Blue, too!
This recipe comes from one of my Google+ friends blog, called, "Lady Behind the Curtain!"

Witches Brew Jello
1 small 3oz box  (Green Apple or Lime)

1 cup Hot water
1 cup Cold water
1/2 cup Pearl Tapioca
6 cups water6 Halloween party serving dishes  (Mini-cauldrons are shown)

#1) Make the Jello
In a medium bowl, add gelatin & 1 cup hot water, then stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. About 2 minutes.
Add 1 cup cold water & stir to combine, then store in frig until solid, about 4 hours.

#2)  Make the Tapioca:
In a medium saucepan on high heat, add the 6 cups of water and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat to med-high and add 1/2 cup Tapioca Pearls. Cook the Tapioca at a low-boil, stirring every 5 minutes to keep it from sticking for 20 minutes. Now remove pan from heat and let the Tapicoa sit uncovered for an additional 20 minutes.
Pour the cooked Tapioca pearls into a strainer and rinse.

#3)  Put it All Together
Remove jello from frig and rake a fork through it several times, enough to break it up into small chunks, then  spoon it into your Halloween serving dishes and top with the Tapioca, making sure some it is spilling over the sides.

#4) Keep chilled in your frig until ready to serve!
To make 12 portions, use a large box of jello and 12 cups of water to 1 cup of Tapicoa.
I'll be featuring a different Halloween Party treat recipe EVERY Friday for "Friday Finds" throughout October, so do stop back every week!
